  • light blue floral halter dress: Body & Soul
  • dark brown tank top: random store
  • beige pocket cardigan: Zara
  • vintage slouchy tan boots: Naturalizer

This is what I wore to work today.
My goddamn flu is getting worse than yesterday. So, I wore my cardigan because I felt really cold. And I braided my few hair and clipped it the side across. Just a new favor for today. Haha.
But, errrgghhh... I refuse to be sick! I have these two tickets of Efek Rumah Kaca's show for tonight that had been sold out two days after my work place sold them about two weeks before the show. This band is really really awesome. It's an indie pop band with Indonesian lyrics. You can check through their myspace HERE. I can't go out tonight so I decided to sell the tickets to my friends. Arrrrgghhhh... I wanna see the show ='[
All I can do tonight is facing my bloody monitor or drowning myself in bath-up...

  • splattered gold skirt: Every for Invictus (local clothing store)
  • brown leather belt: vintage
  • knee-high and folded boots: vintage
  • two-tone slingbag: Dobujack (local clothing store)

Sorry for the lack update of these days. My mom was sick at hospital and I had to take care of her. I didn't have any time to go work (thanks God my boss is a nice person and I could be on leave for couple days) and even took some bloody pictures. Thanks God (again!) my mom had left the hospital yesterday and she's totally well now. One more thing, I rarely have time to get along with my mom so I was grateful I had much time with her at hospital and talked each other. I love her so much (yeah, but I wrote this here instead of say this to her because I'm too shy. Ohh great!)
Anywaaaaay, this is what I wore to work today. Unfortunately, I'm a bit sick. I hate my runny nose and I sneeze a lot. Ouch. But I'm happy to wear more colors again. It surely brightens my day =D

may 2009 vogue italia.

While Gemma Ward is still missing from the fashion scene, but some of her compatriots are making a return to the influential editorial fold after lengthy breaks, courtesy of the May 2009 Vogue Italia.

My favorite model, Irina Lazareanu, who has been in full-on hiatus mode, skipping both the Spring 2009 and Fall 2009 runways save for a couple of turns during couture in January for Alexis Mabille and Christian Dior, is finally back in Miles Aldridge's technicolored "Dreamy".

And Suvi Koponen, who skipped the Fall 2009 runways to travel the world, returns to major editorial ground showcasing what she does best — pose — in Richard Burbridge's "A Summer Blend".

Not to mention Sasha Pivovarova's return to Vogue Italia cover territory, Moroccan-style.

And with an awesome fashion spread Steven Meisel's "Moroccan Holiday".

  • black leather biker jacket: Wilson's
  • lacey patterns drapery top: local boutique
  • dark grey stripes shorts: Eat347 (local clothing store)
  • black heart-cage necklace: Blackmimi (local clothing store)
  • tie worn as a belt: somewhere in closet
  • bow-tie worn as brooch: somewhere in closet
  • semi sheer black tights: Sox Gallery
  • black patent oxford booties: Forever 21
  • metallic big handbag: Every for Invictus (local clothing store)

What I wore today at work. I think I talked a little bullshit when I told you about wearing more colors this summer but I can't get enough of black. Hahahaha. Well, it's not pretty boring though because I present you a new function of my black suede tie. Hahaha. I’ve worn this drapery top in this post and I’m bored of wearing the same thing in same way but I’m currently broke so I decided to use a tie and bow-tie that I’ve worn in some previous posts (like this) as a belt so it looks different. I just tied the tie and twisted it around my waist. And I used the bow-tie to clip the drapery area so it looks like this now. Not really boring, eh? =D

ps. I really need to cut my bangs. I can't seeeeeeeeee xO

guest blogger for chictopia's everybodyisugly.

Hey guys, if you ever read my older (umm well.. almost oldest. haha) post, you will remember that I've been asked to be a guest blogger for EverybodyIsUgly of Chictopia (I've written that Connie asked me to write for CoedUgly, but I just known this morning that she posted it in EverybodyIsUgly). I wrote some tips about 'How to keep your fashion life on budget'. Hahaha yeah, that's so meeeeh. You can catch it up over HEREEEEEEEEEE =D

Here's a note from Connie:
There are some times when I’m wholly unqualified to write about fashion. And right now, as I’m festering away in a library in a hoodie and jersey pants trying to keep myself from destroying my computer in a fit of finals-induced rage, I feel like the best thing to do is to hand the spotlight over to the lovely Thika (aka MarlaSinger) for today. BRB. Going to cry over my notes now.
xoConnie

Please check the rest of it over HEREEEEEEEEEEE =]]
I only gave her 3 pics about the topic so in case if you want to see more pics, you can see them below:
