This is what I wore yesterday, yeah, for work. I'm sorry that I looked like a mess. I was so tired and sweating. Duh. The weather is a bit absurd lately. Freakin hot at noon and friggin cold at nite, or reversely. I found this silk top last week on thrifting day with Lauretha. With cool Balmain-ish shoulder-pads and only about $1! The handmade piece is from Claradevi on blogger meet-up last week too. Also, I found a new background because I'm bored enough of the old ones. I just have to walk a hundred meters from the store to reach this ugly forest-wannabe. Haha =P Anyway, I just watched Michael Jackson's This Is It this evening. Welcoming the trailer...
It's ah-mazing. Really worth to watch for MJ fans, or not. The fact that he prepared for the concert perfectly, creatively involved with every aspect of the production, from the staging and choreography, to the music, lighting, production design and conception of the original short films and video backdrops is really surprising yet very touching. He was at aged 50 and performed as well as 10 years ago. He really really wanted the best for his fans. He was and he still is the best entertainer that the world have ever had. It would have been the best concert on earth if the tragedy didn't happen. I miss you so much, MJ! And I spotted two or three Balmain jackets! OMGEE! *drooling* I'm pretty sure they're from Balmain. You know, the fierce shoulders. He looked really good on those female jackets. Oh yes, he did. I think it's just because he was so skinny, size 0 I guess..
Hey guys, how are you doin? Well well well, bring it on. I'm the first to post this. Me, Lauretha a.k.a myrrh goldframe, and Claradevi a.k.a Sunflares Plethora managed a blogger meet-up plan when Lauretha came from Surabaya just for meeting us on October 20th. It was awesome. First, Lauretha and her friend (and then he'd be our lovely driver and photographer. Hahaha.), Awan, fetched me at my work-place. It was the first time I saw her, God.. she's so tiny and skinny! And she curses a lot. Just like me. Hahahaha. I love her. And then we caught up with Claradevi at Dixie. She's tall and so pretty and looked very fragile yet lovely. But then you'd know that she's not that goody goody. Raaawwwwwrrrr.
Lauretha gave me and Claradevi the nicest gifts. We got a buttoned jeans-vest and a zippered jeans-vest. Also, Claradevi wrapped her handmade hair-clips in lovely small sacks for us. They're deadly cute!
I just can't tell you with any words how insane we were. We were not stop talking (in Javanese, too!), laughing so hard, joking about anything (even the waiter joined us. ahoy!), eating yummy food, and taking A LOT of pictures and doing some crazy things. Yeah! I was amazed that we didn't need any ice breaker just for talking each other. It was just like meeting old friends. And the mutual friends connection between us helped a lot.
I'm so happy to meet them. Really. I just think that we were separated at birth. Hahaha. I'm actually not a kind of person who believed that anybody could be real friends through cyber world. Now, I do. Feel the chemistry between us and I believe that we'll be good friends! Exciting, huh?
Too bad that Claradevi had a dancing class at 8pm so we had to say goodbye to her while me and Lauretha continued our adventure to other cafe called Kedai Poci Unik to meet her friends which are my old friends too =D The day after that, without Claradevi because she was really busy, Lauretha and I went to the mall (I stubbornly told her that Ambarrukmo Plaza is boring but she insisted, hahaha) and we had dinner at Pastello and talked about love-life deeply. Hello?! Hahahaha. It was flattering yet bitter too. Remembering the old days is not easy sometimes, yeah? =P And the last day for Lauretha in Jogja, I took her to some thrift stores. It sucked that it was not really satisfying. And also, Claradevi coudn't join us again. Then, It was time for her to go home and I had to go to work, too. We didn't take pictures for our little dates *wink* but it was exciting. Very much ecstatic. God... I miss her already =/
For you guys, we created a holy masterpiece story for you. This is real joke. I mean, Claradevi was not really smoking. Hahahaha. We came up with this idea just after we were full with those yummy curry, noodles, and rice. Enjoy, people! =D
Once upon a time, two ladyrockers sat down next to a vintage geek lady. They were smoking and the lady did nothing but thinking.
vintage geek : *whispering to herself* Oh Lord have mercy... Look at them! They must be sinners... How could I got trapped here??? ladyrocker 1 : Hey look, someone is watching you. She's a nerdy. ladyrocker 2 : *a bit careless* Really? Great! She's our new prey! We should make her a bit 'wilder'.
ladyrocker 1 : You SHOULD try this. Smoking is holy heaven, you idiot! ladyrocker 2 : Yeah, or try this tasty wine. It's yummy. Come on, freak! vintage geek :I don't think I really wanna go to 'heaven' yet...
ladyrockers : BUT WE INSIST!! TRY THIS! OR THE BEER!! OR THE WINE! vintage geek : *mumbling* Ugh, I really need to stop these bitches...
ladyrocker 1 : DRINK THIS! ladyrocker 2 : Yeah, put it in your mouth! And this too! vintage geek : FARRRTT! dont you see I'm OPENING my mouth, you insane!
ladyrockers : You better do what we say... or else we'll gonna make you worse than this! vintage geek : *still mumbling* Oh shit, I can't put them down.. There's no other way to get rescued... Please help me, God...
vintage geek : OKAY! I'll drink this! Just to make you stop disturbing me!! ladyrockers : *watching the vintage geek lady drinking her beer*
ladyrocker 1 : Hey look! I think she's enjoying the beer... ladyrocker 2 : Yeah, we're so great! She's having fun. Hahahaha. vintage geek : *in her own fantasy* I see butterflies and bugs in my eyes..
vintage geek : Oh, what the heck, I'll try this stupid cigarette too anyway! ladyrockers : Hell yeah, baby!!
And then, there were THREE holy insaners gathering on the heaven-like-hell table and doing some insane stuffs ever after.

What do you think about the story? Is it that lame? I couldn't stop laughing! LMAO
Anyway, I can't wait for the next meet-up with them again or with you guys! I'd love to know other bloggers anyway. Thank you and enjoy, people! =]

Yoooo.. I'm back! I promise myself and my readers to post more often and throw away all the laziness to edit pictures or write some unnecessary words like these or upload the pics on tinypic, etc. Is it good to see me posting again for less than a week, eh? Or are you getting bored here? Oh.. Whatever.
This is me, on lazy Sunday, I'm currently having this flu and it's killing me softly. A party was held at my work-place last nite but I've taken my drug so I couldn't even drink. But I'm totally proud of myself that I could stay sober last nite. It's not easy to see your friends, even your boyfriend, get drunk and you're not. And it was not crowded like I expected before so the fact that I just smoked a lot (and sneezed A LOT too) and just sat down on the stairs and saw everyone dancing, OMFG, it sucked.
Anyway, this is what I wore to work few days ago. I came up with the idea when I see this drapery top fell out when I browsed my closet and tried to decide what I would wear that day. I don't have THAT MUCH clothes and I'm good at wearing clothes errr.. repeated. Haha. The key is I just don't want to look the same like the way I've worn before. If you see this and this, that's what I'm talking about. The first one is the original look and the second one is when I gathered the drapes and clipped them with a bow tie. Looks different? Okay. And it's time to wear the top as a cape! Yeah, cape! You know, I just wear it but I didn't put my arms through the sleeves. And I also wore a loose shirt and a skirt that I've posted here before. And THAT beret, too! No, I'm not bored yet. But I got these new shoes a week ago! I couldn't really walk in these shoes (it hurts like hell!) but I'm so happy! I know, beauty is pain =P
Oh and my bestfriend, Hanna, wants to say Aloha! =]
Sorry for posting too much pictures and bore you with the long stories. I just can't help it. Haha xD
Yesterday, I just spent 13 hours for work, and on my day-off. This is how I love my job so much. Hahaha. I went to pine forest for the first session of Slacker's Lookbook shoot. What a beautiful forest! I don't really like green color but seeing trees and leaves everywhere made me so comfortable. It was such a shame that I didn't even have time to take pictures of myself. I mean, I could finally update my blog frequently. Hahaha. Well, I have these 237 photos (only from my camera and we used FOUR cameras) included ONLY seven photos of mine. Worse, it was all candid and my face looked fugly. What a pity.
It's deadly tiring but we had lots of fun. We got lost thrice and my poor friend had to hold in pee until we found gas station. Hahaha. But i wanna go back there again. And for my shoot, puh-lease.
Anyway, I didn't wear this outfit yesterday. I wore this few days ago and for the laziness reason, I keep the post till I have spare time to publish this. I got the band shirt from my online buddy in Solo. We have similar taste in music and Superjoint Ritual is one of our fave bands. He's a great man anyway. The skirt is also a gift from my bestie when she attended Jakarta Clothing Fest few months ago. It's Large size and too big for me but I have it altered now. And the lace short-sleeved cardigan is one of my best finds too. Loose-fit and only a buck! The sweet addition for my metal band shirt. Gaaaaaah =P
