I went to my friend's wedding yesterday. He's my work-mate and the store is closed for few hours so everyone could come to the wedding and say the happy greetings. The wedding is so simple, held at home, with few invitations for relatives and close friends. It was just like a casual party. The thing is... I didn't know what to wear until last minute. It was not too formal and it was held at 2 pm.
Oh, do you notice that I even put on some make-up? Hahah. Yeah, really. I rarely wear full make-up. For daily need, I just put on lip balm, compact, and mascara. But yesterday, I applied black eyeshadow (no eyeliner!) with a touch of silver on the corner of my eyes. Only took about seven minutes, I'm not that good at make-up. Seriously.
Then, the dress and the shoes were just something I threw on. My dress has shimmery effect so I think it goes with any semi-formal occasion. Oh, I found this bow-tie again and clipped it on my hair so I didn't look too plain because I rarely wear accessories. Of course, I can't take off this shoes, yet. Yaaaayyy.

The after-wedding pic with my girls in black and white. See, we were not looking like too formal, eh? I even wore this outfit for work after that! Not to mention, I forgot to bring anymore clothes for changing. Yeah.

We were just about to jump in the car, but.. say cheeseeeeeeee first =D

  • fringe crop tee: Bloop Relaxing
  • blue bodycon skirt: Solemio @ Tomodachi
  • vintage black leather biker jacket: Wilson's
  • lace and chains necklace: Nefertiti Jewelz
  • black over the knee socks: Sox Gallery
  • lace peep-toe wedges: Miint
  • shiny slouchy bag: Flashy

I'm currently in very bad mood. Everything feels like shit lately. Pfffftttt.
Anyway, thanks God, I think this skirt was made only for me. Hahaha. I found it in a luxury boutique in Bandung called Tomodachi. I think this skirt is one of the cheap things there. That's why I bought it. Yaaaaay. You know, I'm a curvy girl with big hips and huge ass so if I wear anything bodycon, my body wouldn't look flattering at all. Duh. But this skirt,
the shape, the color, and how it fits my hips... coolness. And I have to say that my new shoes are so pretty! Again, thanks to Sabila for the gorgeous Miint shoes collection =D

  • red stripes longsleeve tees: secondhand
  • brown loose pants: Cosmic Girl (local clothing store)
  • red and black necklace: Nefertiti Jewelz
  • red wool cloche hat: Forever 21
  • three-tone strap wedges: Topshop
  • trapeze brown slingbag: Arena Experience (local clothing store)

Remember these most comfortable pants I've ever worn in my life? Haha. Yeah. I felt like I wanted to wear something comfy yesterday and ended up with just-something-I-threw-on outfit. The wedges are deadly heavy (yes, they are!) but still comfortable enough for 7 hours to and fro. Oh, and I've had this hat for months but I never wore it till yesterday. I just don't know how to wear it. Ha. Seriously. Well, this is my way to wear it, just folded the half part outside so it looks like half-bowler hat. Weird, no?

Anyway, did you guys watch Golden Globe few days ago? Who do you think was the best dressed? Well, here's mine:

Photobucket
(L-R January Jones in Lanvin, Olivia Wilde in Gucci, Heather Graham in Elie Saab)

January's dress is very elegant yet sleek-chic. I love how she matched it with the headband and red lips. Both Olivia and Heather looked fab in sequin dresses, too =]

Photobucket
(L-R Kate Hudson in Marchesa, Christina Aguilera in Versace, Jennifer Westfeldt black and white gown)

Kate's dress is like a perfect sculpture. The shape is very unique and she was brave enough to take the risk. While Christina pulled off the unique peachy metal dress, Jennifer looked awesome in amazing black and white dress. Tres beautiful ♥

Photobucket
(L-R Rose Byrne in Lanvin, Diane Kruger in Lacroix Couture, Emily Blunt in Dolce&Gabbana)

I love Rose's hair. So cute. And why do everyone hate Diane's dress? I think it's gorgeous. I fancy the cotton-candy color. But I just wanna rip off the ribbon. Haha =P And Emily Blunt looks gorgeous with her best accessory, John Krasinski.

  • grey acid wash blazer: Miss Selfridge
  • zippers and chains longsleeve top: Daisy Days
  • pleat origami skirt: Topshop
  • grey tights: Sox Gallery
  • black lace-up heels: Japanese store
  • vintage slingbag: Yves Saint Laurent

Yaaay.. I love weekend! Last nite there was a party at my work-place and the store was closed earlier (yippiieee..). I didn't really enjoy the music (it's breakcorewhateverblablablah) so I just shared some wine and beer with my besties and enjoy the rest of Saturday nite. Awesome.
Well, I actually ordered these shoes last month but I just had a chance to wear these few days ago when I took these pictures (and I forgot to take the close-up! Duh!). Even, somebody had worn them first. Hahaha. As you know, my left knee still hurts and I don't want to scare you with my super-uncool-and-unflattering scar, I have no choice but wearing tights. Oh, and I got this gorgeous top at my favorite local boutique. If you live in Jogjakarta and you need to know where it is, hit me and I give you the address =D

  • purple tunic (worn as top): Topshop
  • mustard patterned skirt: gift from my boss
  • colored-stones necklace: Minority
  • bow hair clip: handmade gift from Claradevi
  • nude candy socks: Sox Gallery
  • mustard double wide-straps heels: Chrysalis
  • purple drawstring bag: vintage

How's your day, cupcakes? As for me, not much happening these days. I'm having this super-uncool-little-accident (I hate this) and my knee hurts. So bad. Not pretty at all, I must say. And the boring part is I've been staying at home for five days. Uh oh. But the good part is... thanks God, finally I had time for cinemarathon. Well, obviously, that's the best thing that I could do for my five-days-in-prison while I just sat my ass on the couch with enough potato chips and few packs of cigarettes.
Anyway, I was playing with camera flash because of the rain and I got no chance to take pictures outside. I look so shiny and oily. Hahaha. Got this skirt from my lovely boss, again. Happyyyy! The pictures don't do justice. It's seriously cute in real life. And I'm not bored enough to take off these shoes. Matchy-matchy with the skirt, yeah? Oh, and got this beautiful hair clip from my beautiful blogger friend, Claradevi of Sunflares Plethora. It's a gift from blogger meet-up few months ago.
And I'm very surprised to tell you that I got featured in Tongue In Chic last week! Sweet. Thanks to Fafa for letting me know about this delicious news! Take a peek on my real name (yes, they mention it!) here =D
