I was very excited to take a walk on the bridge last Sunday and get photographed by my dear friend, Moks, with his Canon EOS 40D. He's such an awesome photographer and you should check out his amazing work
here.
Do you think that I pull off sequin pants on sunny Sunday? These are my newest pants and completely satisfying my obsession to sequins lately. I think they're such a lovely pair for my vintage nude blazer that I got last month.
Anyway, before I start my L'Oreal review, the first introduction that you have to know about my hair is: It seems that every hair problem loves my hair. I think my hair is attractive, in a weird way. Duh. This is how my hair was and what happened before:
I have thin hair density, with dry and notorious split-ends. While my oily scalp easily makes my flowing locks get limp easily so I need to wash my hair almost everyday but since my biggest problem is hair loss, it's depressing to see clumps of hair falling out my head every single time after I wash it. It's just dull, and completely disaster.
I'm a type of person who don't treat my hair as well as my shoes. Word. I used to change my shampoo depends on what I found in the bathroom and I rarely used conditioner because I always wake up late so I didn't have much extra time just to rub the conditioner on my hair and wait for few minutes. Duh. I also changed my hair color every month and ironed it everyday, I've tried straightening, curling, and everything without proper hair care and treatment that my hair really needed. And I even rarely combed my hair. I just love to brush my bangs only. Hahaha. But now I feel the complete damaged hair as consequences of what I've done to my hair a while ago. Geez. Poor hair.
I even thought to go bald, for God's sake.
When I received a package of L'Oreal shampoo and conditioner that Linda from L'Oreal Company kindly sent for me a week ago, I wasn't really sure that the shampoo and conditioner would suit my hair type and problems (although the pink bottles are so adorable, yeah?), but I saw a flick of hope for my dull hair, so why not? I'm surprised that the result is very pleasing from the first time I used it and I'm not just saying it.
First, I really really love the long-lasting scent that I could stick my hair on my nose all the time just to smell it. And it smells yummy. Hahaha. Second, no easy-greasy yet frizzy hair. These products tame my frizz hair and increasing the 'soft' factor. Who doesn't want healthy and clean hair, too? Plus, it looks voluminous without any kind of lion-hair look with less matted hair and more manageable. Third, I seriously didn't believe the result from the first time because I've only used the dynamic duo for four times and they already do revive my limp locks also pump up my strands' volume. The creamy conditioner helps my hair to get silky while the moisture smoothens my dry ends. It's really nice to see that my hair feels lighter and of course, shinier! I have to say that I've proudly achieved wavily-run-my-fingers-through-it hair. Hahaha.
Last but not least, for those who have student budget like me, the price is very affordable (only 19.900 rupiahs for a bottle of 180 ml - 200 ml). Yaaaay. I will surely repurchase these products when I run out of them. Happy pocket, anyone?
