Another Sunday, another bridge, another sequin stuff. Whoaaaa. These photos are taken by my dear friend, Moks, with his Canon EOS 40D. He's such an awesome photographer and you should check out his amazing work here. I even quote my own words because I just have nothing to say. Hmmmm.

It's really nice to take a walk on Sunday and take some pictures. We had fun but lots of people were staring at me. Duh. Moks taught me some new poses (he's really good at it. hahaha) and I'm happy that I don't have to show you my same-and-boring poses like my previous posts do. Yaaaaaay =P

I really really love the second picture above. Moks did a great job with his wide lenses and I'm excited of it, although you can't see my face.

Got these pants while ago but I couldn't find any way to wear them. I was about to alter them but I think by cuffing the bottom looks pretty good. Don't you think? If you don't, please ignore my thighs, I know they're a bit distracting. Hahaha =P
Now I really need to shut my mouth because I have nothing to say again. Arrrgghhh.

  • black pocket-y tank top: Oneandahalf
  • black paisley skirt: Miss Selfridge
  • black bow-tie (worn as hair-tie): Centro dept. store
  • black leather belt: vintage
  • duo-tone cutout wedge booties: Shoezisme
  • stars and heart granny slingbag: Zara

When did the last time you see me wearing clashing-patterns? I don't even remember myself. Haha. Since I often feel miserable this summer, the best way to cheer myself up is wearing colorful outfits! The obsession is going with more pastel colors, more pretty hats, more playful patterns, more relaxed sandals, yada yada yada.

I've posted outfits with the shirt here and with the skirt here, and when I find them again in my closet, they were flirting to each other (read: my shirt was positioned under the skirt. duh.), why don't let them to be a couple? And here we go! I think the chemistry between them is good. Speaking about the same green-ish feeling =D

Excuse my weird head, just be focus to the bow-tie, yeah? I just want to show you the cutie one and how happy I was when I got it for less than a buck. Yes! And the shoes, ummmm, I love the booties, but since I have wide errrrrrr.. feet so I don't really feel comfortable wearing them. What a shame. I feel the cuteness in them. Errrgh. I'd probably give it up to a fellow with narrow feet. Period.

Howdy? I'm almost done with my exam so I guess I'd be able to reply your comments soon. I very much apologize for that. I need to get rid of this miserable feeling and my unhealthy obsession with coffee or I'll bore you with tons of terrible story-telling things and my zombie-esque outfit that you really don't want to see here.

Summer is a perfect season for colors, don't you think? Since I've mentioned thousand times that my closet is full of black stuffs, I snagged this cutie blouse when I went thrifting on Bandung last month. I'm currently obsessed with pastels and I need more and more colorful tops like this! Mood booster, no?

I need nerd glasses to teach algebra in the nearest elementary school. My friend told me that and I don't think it's funny. Hmm.

In love with the wedges at the first sight! I usually don't fall for too-simple shoes but since the weather is pretty much hotter than hell, I grabbed these wedges (on sale!) at my favorite local store. I adore the color (matchy-matched my nails, too!) and FYI, I usually dislike green. Hahaha.

Well, since this post was the last time I shared about my playlist, now I'll share three bands! Yes. All of them are folk/indie pop-rock bands that I found couple months ago. But none of them are new bands, obviously.

Arms.
Lo-fi indie rock. It's actually moniker of solo-band or whatever it's actually called. Kids Aflame is my favorite album. Every song is just so great on any occasion. Trust me. This man is a genius.

The Rumour Said Fire.
Acoustic folk songs. Truly made for your picnic time while rolling in the grass and joking around. Bring lots of turkey sandwich and good-looking cupcakes, pals. Check out my fave track, "The Balcony".

The High Llamas.
If you go for a trip with your crazy friends, AC/DC is a kick-ass soundtrack but it's like the opposite of this 'highway to hell'. Hahaha. I mean, it's just perfect for your lonely trip, when you have nothing to do than driving along the way to nowhere. Try 'Cold and Bouncy' and 'Snowbug' album. Very relaxing =D

If you have a Last.fm account, be my friends! I just made it last month and I'd be happy to hear any recommends of great bands from you and feel free to check out my library, too =]

  • dark brown long knit cardigan: D'loops (local clothing store)
  • yellow mini tiered dress worn as top: Friday to Sunday
  • rust suede leather shorts: vintage
  • leopard ribbon: random crafts store
  • dark chocolate leather belt: vintage
  • leopard bow necklace: local boutique
  • slouchy tan boots: vintage
  • duo-tone leather tote bag: Flashy

I feel very very terrible these days. Not that much different from 'pathetic', to be honest. I was sick for couple days. I missed my exam. I still have tons of work to do. AND I shouldn't complain about everything here. I'm sorry =/

But I certainly do not feel mellow yellow, like my outfit. Hahaha. Please ignore my necklace position on the first photo. That's my best shot without odd smirk on my face.

Oh yeah, this is my favorite bag at the moment because I keep wearing it over and over again. Noted.

Oo my God, I feel so pathetic. Sorry for not posting these few days. My connection is sooooo lame. IDK WTF is going on with the connection.
Okay, let's get rid of it. My yesterday's outfit was actually like tribute to local stores. Hahaha. Yeah. All the stuffs I wore yesterday are made by Indonesian brands, except the blazer. What I love about local brands, you could find some unique stuffs with affordable prices. Yaaaaay.

Well, say hello to my nude blazer again! This piece is so versatile and I can't help to wear it over and over again. And the pants are one of the most comfortable pants, ever.

This shoulder detail on my top is so cute, no? And these shoes are one of two shoes I purchased two months ago (yes, it's the last time I bought shoes because I had to save my money for my trip. duh), pretty comfortable but not that easy to wear. I wish they had zippers on the back.
Oh, and I'm sorry for my unflattering nails. I wore the nail polish four days before I took the pictures and I forgot to reapply it. Hahaha. But I have to show you how cute the color is. It's Malibu Green nail lacquer from American Apparel and I redeemed three of them from Chic Rewards which was very exciting. Superb colors for summer!
Okay. No more mumbling. Gotta go to work. Bye xx

Do you think that I pull off sequin pants on sunny Sunday? These are my newest pants and completely satisfying my obsession to sequins lately. I think they're such a lovely pair for my vintage nude blazer that I got last month.

Anyway, before I start my L'Oreal review, the first introduction that you have to know about my hair is: It seems that every hair problem loves my hair. I think my hair is attractive, in a weird way. Duh. This is how my hair was and what happened before:
I have thin hair density, with dry and notorious split-ends. While my oily scalp easily makes my flowing locks get limp easily so I need to wash my hair almost everyday but since my biggest problem is hair loss, it's depressing to see clumps of hair falling out my head every single time after I wash it. It's just dull, and completely disaster.
I'm a type of person who don't treat my hair as well as my shoes. Word. I used to change my shampoo depends on what I found in the bathroom and I rarely used conditioner because I always wake up late so I didn't have much extra time just to rub the conditioner on my hair and wait for few minutes. Duh. I also changed my hair color every month and ironed it everyday, I've tried straightening, curling, and everything without proper hair care and treatment that my hair really needed. And I even rarely combed my hair. I just love to brush my bangs only. Hahaha. But now I feel the complete damaged hair as consequences of what I've done to my hair a while ago. Geez. Poor hair.
I even thought to go bald, for God's sake.

Photobucket

When I received a package of L'Oreal shampoo and conditioner that Linda from L'Oreal Company kindly sent for me a week ago, I wasn't really sure that the shampoo and conditioner would suit my hair type and problems (although the pink bottles are so adorable, yeah?), but I saw a flick of hope for my dull hair, so why not? I'm surprised that the result is very pleasing from the first time I used it and I'm not just saying it.

Photobucket
Photobucket

First, I really really love the long-lasting scent that I could stick my hair on my nose all the time just to smell it. And it smells yummy. Hahaha. Second, no easy-greasy yet frizzy hair. These products tame my frizz hair and increasing the 'soft' factor. Who doesn't want healthy and clean hair, too? Plus, it looks voluminous without any kind of lion-hair look with less matted hair and more manageable. Third, I seriously didn't believe the result from the first time because I've only used the dynamic duo for four times and they already do revive my limp locks also pump up my strands' volume. The creamy conditioner helps my hair to get silky while the moisture smoothens my dry ends. It's really nice to see that my hair feels lighter and of course, shinier! I have to say that I've proudly achieved wavily-run-my-fingers-through-it hair. Hahaha.
Last but not least, for those who have student budget like me, the price is very affordable (only 19.900 rupiahs for a bottle of 180 ml - 200 ml). Yaaaay. I will surely repurchase these products when I run out of them. Happy pocket, anyone?
