part of your nature.

  • black boyfriend blazer: Topshop
  • carousal maxi dress: c/o Love and Bravery
  • black and white bowy brim hat: local store
  • lace and ribbon brooch: Bebe
  • vintage lace-up granny booties: Dixi
  • black faux leather backpack: Monik

Quick post with only few photos! This is currently my favorite location for photo shoot. It's not too far from my house and it's actually a blind alley. Too bad, I was in hurry because of the sudden rain (it was very cloudy so too many blur and dark pics) and too many mosquitoes around. Can't wait to have more shoots there, though.

This dress is also included in a package that I received from Love and Bravery. The material is very soft and comfortable and IT'S POLKADOT! I couldn't be happier! Go follow them on their blog shop and like them on their Facebook!

Just threw on my blazer and a brooch that actually comes with a separate dress as an addition. It looks like a sunflower and I'm a big fan of it! Yaaaaay! Ready to go!

cold and bouncy.

I was browsing through net-a-porter.com and I could do nothing but drooling over everything there. I was looking for some winter inspiration (I know there's no winter in Indonesia, GODDAMNIT!) and now I want to share some of my fave pieces with you. Look at these coats, capes, jackets, and knits.. I can't help it.

Photobucket

1. Vivienne Westwood Red Label Two-tone wool-blend coat £531.91
2. Burberry Cotton-twill trench coat £621.48
3. Moschino BouclĂ© wool coat with ribbon flower £1,238.30
4. Sonia Rykiel Wool-felt coat dress £910.64
5. Roberto Cavalli Brocade wool coat £3,204.26

I almost died when I saw that Moschino number! I definitely would wear these beauties like... for real. Summer nights are often cold anyway. Hahaha.

Photobucket

1. Vanessa Bruno Cape-style bouclĂ©-wool jacket £519.15
2. Rebecca Taylor Belted wool-blend cape £489.36
3. Emilio Pucci Cashmere and wool-blend cape £1,272.34
4. Alexander McQueen Wool belted cape £1,297.87
5. Yves Saint Laurent Asymmetric crepe cape £1,046.81

A light-weight cape is probably a good idea for tropical country. I'm so gonna find one! But not with similar price-tag, for sure...

Photobucket

1. Acne Velocite oversized shearling aviator jacket £1,195.74
2. Antonio Berardi Shearling and suede jacket £2,557.45
3. Burberry Prorsum Cropped shearling aviator jacket £1,586.96
4. Alexander McQueen Leather biker jacket £2,434.04
5. Vivienne Westwood Red Label Wool-blend zebra-print jacket £302.13
6. Willow Draped sequin and mesh jacket £1,731.92

Shearling, biker, asymmetrical... So-called perfection.

Photobucket

1. Moschino Wool and cashmere ruffled cardigan £565.96
2. D&G Wool-blend Fair Isle cardigan £408.51
3. Maison Martin Margiela Mohair-blend scalloped-knit cardigan £540.43
4. Pringle of Scotland Oversized cashmere sweater £1,187.23
5. Miu Miu Cable-knit wool sweater £523.40
6. Alexander McQueen Skull-print silk-blend cardigan £646.81

The most suitable inspiration for I-could-wear-them-in-my-tropical-country. Sweaters and cardigans are great enough for rainy days.
So, what is your favorite piece? xx

lazy greys.

Photobucket

  • navy blue padded blazer: thrift store
  • navy blue animale corset bodysuit: Zara
  • polkadot denim pants: Just Wanderlust
  • navy blue leather belt: vintage
  • three-tone strap wedges: Topshop
  • bluebell studded suede bag: Chrysalis

How'dy, guys? This is another delayed post. I'm still passing through the grey days here. I've been feeling ridiculously unwell since last week. My body is aching all over and I feel nauseous all the time. I definitely need my chillax moment today and do nothing. Probably just scroll on my bed and my Sunday life will be only for a big bowl of cornflakes and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book that I want to finish. It's only few days away before the movie release. I've read it about six times and I just want to make sure that I'll remember every detail in the book when I watch the movie. Gosh. I love Harry Potter more than anything. Probably.

I really really really love this bodysuit. Yeah. Got this on sale price (which is the best thing!) and I always wanted to have this kind of bodysuit with bustier tube! I find it more like... cute instead of sexy. Hehe. And the pattern even makes it cuter!

These pants are also my fave pants because of the... polkadot! Yes, I have secret obsession with polkadot now (I was obsessed with houndstooth!) and I can't help myself when I saw these pants on an online store. I even ignored my friend who told me that he still consider them as pj pants. DUH.

Last, I just wanna share a beautiful yet sad story that my fellow blogger, Miy, wrote on her latest post about her beloved hometown, Kaliurang, which is only few kilometers away from the top of Mount Merapi. She portrays the real situation around, the abandoned village, the burnt trees, and everything is covered in ashes. It's very depressing to know the situation keeps going like this. But I believe in hope that my lovely town is going back to normal soon..

into the white.

  • broken white loose silk blouse (worn as outerwear): thrift store
  • slashed-leather tank: Misch @ Happy-Go-Lucky
  • black tapered pants: c/o Love and Bravery
  • black and white bowy brim hat: local store
  • zebra painted wedges: c/o Spotlight
  • shiny slouchy bag: Flashy

Super delayed post! I took these pictures before the volcano eruption in my town and I'm really sorry that I just had time to post it by now. Everything was crazy. The volcano was even more dangerous than ever and we had to wear mask everywhere because of the dust rain. It's calming down for these couple days but the number of refugees and victims is still increasing day by day. The situation is devastating and I hope everything will be okay soon.

Wore this blouse again. It's pure delicate, can't help it. Oh, and I was very surprised when I got a super lovely package from Love and Bravery. I received some of the prettiest clothes and they fit me so well. These pants are very comfy and I love the drapery pocket. Go follow them on their blog shop and like them on their Facebook!

Also received these quirky wedges from Spotlight! Yaaaaay. Don't you love the pattern? I do! These are hand-painted and I was amazed with the quality. Go grab the cutest sneakers or flatties at their store! And please say hi to my new hat! =D
ps. Please check out this post and this post by my fellow blogger friend, Claradevi (she lives in Jogja, too!) if you want to donate for the volcano victims. THE REFUGEES ARE STILL STRUGGLING. Please please please do the best as you can and Claradevi with some of her friends (one of them are my friend, too!) will distribute your donation to the refugee camps. They will report the kind of logistics, the amount of the expenses, and live-tweet about the distribution with some pictures. Follow her twitter @claradevi or my friend's @mistymimit to get more updates or you could also follow this hashtag: #pedulimerapi (mainly written in Indonesian). And if you live in Indonesia, you can donate by transferring to the bank accounts they provide on their profiles. Every little help is very useful and will be well-distributed by these angels. Thank you so much! May God bless us all..

ps. Indonesia is currently addressing a multitude of emergencies and heart-breaking situation. Dealing with insistent natural disasters like flash floods in Wasior, earthquake and tsunami in Mentawai, and eruption of Merapi volcano in Jogjakarta (that's my town!) with lame responses from the government. Please please please do pray for all the victims and survivors, and/or help as much as you can. Please pray for Indonesia. God bless you all xx
