weekend wars.

  • nude draped outerwear: vintage
  • nude lacey ruffle top: H&M Divided
  • nude & off white drapey vest: c/o Auburn & Ginger
  • white sheer pleated skirt: c/o Auburn & Ginger
  • bow boater hat: random shop
  • Flowery Ivy wedgesc/o Shoezisme
  • nude croc satchel bag: c/o Minimal

It's actually a remake (or mix, perhaps?) of this look and this look... And if you notice something, there are actually two different backgrounds! Haha. It was raining when I took my first shots but I managed to get some pics. But I redid to take shots again near my house, just in case. FYI, I was sick and about to barf when I took these shots. Does my face show the 'shit-happens'?

If you a long-time follower of my blog, you may know that I'm crazy of layering this and that. This time, I layered two lightweight outerwears in nude color and paired them with matched cream and white color. Can't get enough of pastels and soft neutral colors yet, especially this spring! Anyway, I hate my too-long bangs and this side bangs don't cover my weird forehead properly so I guess I need to cut it again by myself, don't you think?

Well, enjoy your long weekend holiday, folks xx

the very best of.

Just wanna share about... how to add affordable luxury to your everyday look?

Every girl loves a little luxury, but we can’t all afford a wardrobe that’s stacked to the hilt with designer gear. Lucky for us, subtle accents of luxury in a wardrobe will add touches of elegance and opulence to our everyday looks.

The quickest and easiest way to make your wardrobe a little more luxurious is with a
statement bag. A luxury handbag is a true investment piece and leather handbags are
known for getting more beautiful with age. Once you’ve found the perfect handbag,
you’re all set for years to come. For stunning handbags with exquisite finishes browse
Paul Smith or Shop Ted Baker UK online.

Jewellery adds a touch of opulence to your look and we love vintage jewellery for
its authentic style and exquisite detail. Costume jewellery lends a dramatic flair to
fashion while finer pieces like silver necklaces with pretty pendants give your outfit a
personalised elegance. An oversized ring is a statement piece while stacked bangles
promise to modernise your look. Investing in jewellery is a clever fashion move, as
trends always come back around and allow you to have a rummage through your
jewellery box for this week’s essential item.

Shoes are a little piece of heaven that make your outfit look and feel expensive. For an
authentic luxury look, opt for soft suede fabrics and glossy silks. Garish embellishments
cheapen your look, so keep your shoes sleek, chic and ultra stylish. A pair of French
Connection or Miss KG platform heels promises to lift your look in an instant.

Whether you’re going on a well-deserved night on the town or simply looking to vamp up
your everyday look, luxury is affordable in small doses. A beautiful leather bag speaks
volumes about your style and a pretty piece of jewellery adds a little shimmer and shine
to your outfit. A glam pair of shoes can make you look and feel a million dollars so
remember to pull on a striking pair of Dune shoes before you head out the door.

abducted.

  • royal blue polkadot dress: vintage
  • handmade hairclip: gift
  • heart-cage necklace: Blackmimi
  • three-tone platform wedges: Topshop
  • vintage black sling-bag (worn as clutch): Yves Saint Laurent

A quick outfit post. Got this dress from Chictopia Swap last year but I just had a chance to wear it. The polkadot pattern is just the cherry on top of this dress. Also wearing my old YSL treasure (remove the sling and worn it as a clutch) and my favorite wedges. This outfit definitely made my day.

Oh, how I need a vacation very soon...

jaded.

  • houndstooth-collared jacket: thrift store
  • Milo cardigan in light brown: c/o Dream Shop
  • choco tank top: somewhere in my closet
  • jade green summer dress: Topshop
  • pine green sling-back wedges: Friday to Sunday
  • duo-tone granny bag: Screamous

My outfit for grocery store doesn't usually look 'this' fancy but I felt like I wanted to dress up and played with some layering (a bit cold rainy day) so there goes my outfit... I don't usually like green color (especially the one that looks like... gross moss?) but I love jade green. One of the most gorgeous colors I've ever discovered in my whole life and I ain't joking :D
Also got this short sleeve cardigan from Dream Shop and it goes well with this outfit, don't you think? :)
